Tonight I ended up seeing two movies at siff. The first was Teknolust. A very strange film about a bio-geneticist who creates cyborgs using her own dna. The premise of this film sounds interesting, but in practice, it falls flat on it's face. The script is very weak and underdeveloped. It moves along ok at first, but then when it starts to come to an end, it just starts to flat out suck. Don't bother with this one.

The second film I saw was Teenage Hooker Became Killing Machine in Daehakroh. The title explains it all really. A teenage hooker is caught by her teacher. He then blackmails her to have sex with him and when she becomes pregnant, he hires hitmen to kill her. The body is found by a Mad scientist of sorts and is transformed into a cyborg killing machine. She then goes off to find her killers and get revenge. This movie is a short 60 minutes, but it doesn't feel like it. It is amazingly slow moving and very odd. It actually goes so far as to be so bad it's good. I would be willing to watch this movie again, but it needs the MST3K treatment in order to make it watchable.

After watching these two movies, me, evan, eaterofhands, roaringaura and hotball went to minnie's for late night snacking. We were also accosted by a bum and weren't served enough water.
