went to the bank with my dad. we have cleared up a whole bunch of bills. he somehow talked them into dropping all the overdraft fees. that's amazing. so now my checking account is in the black again and he also made a payment on the credit card so that's in the black.
let me just say that my dad is freakin' amazing sometimes. now i owe him money instead of the bank.

also, i just updated the kernel on navi to 2.2.18. navi may go down again so that i can hook up a power strip with it.
