i just keep going at it. tim is just about to leave for school and ask me to help him with some computer problem. i made it worse and now i feel really bad about it. he needed to get a file on a disk and his computer is acting all loopy with the disk drive. so he wanted to send it to my computer over the network. i was using ftp for this cause samba isn't working yet and i accidently tried to get the file from my computer instead of send it. for some reason, this removed the original file from tim's computer without a trace. i'm puzzled as to why it would do that.

well, my computer is running now. x is on there, stuff is working. mostly what i need to do now is configuration. i'll deal with that later.

i should leave or something. i'm tired. it seems to come and go. i wish i wasn't so lame.
