stupid dialing programs

i am currently fighting with this program to see if i like it. but i can't even seem to get it to work right. makes me cross. maybe i'll just play some video games or watch another movie. i don't really feel like working on this computer right now. but while i'm thinking about it, here is a todo list for navi:
clean up boot scripts
set up dns
get either diald or another program like it working (ex: connect, masqdialer, etc)
upgrade some various programs (apache, gtk, perl, etc)

well, that's all i can think of now.

hrm... my cellphone is making the computer speakers make funny noises.
