The cable modem was out for a couple hours. i felt helpless so i took a nap. when i woke up, it was still out. I cried a bit, watched the new south park episode which i had downloaded and then played some video games. finally, it came back and now i'm happy.

I wrote that an hour ago. eep.

was watching WarGames but then my mom kicked me out of the television room cause she wanted to sleep on the couch in there. I'm telling ya, she is weird. There is currently an open bedroom that she could sleep in, but she prefers the couch, i guess. *shrug*

If i had the dvd player working in linux, i could watch the movie. but i haven't gotten it working yet. silly video drivers are not playing nice.

i should be going to bed anyways because abel told me to.

Home from work now. plans for tonight are to go watch fear and loathing with some peeps at 9. other then that, i have no plans. I really need to do laundry so maybe i'll get off my lazy ass and take the clothes basket downstairs. yea, i should do that.

Well, I got my laundry down to the washer. This is good. It's amazing how much cleaner my room looks if I just get the laundry out. There is still garbage around, but the clothes take up way too much room.

Finished watching wargames, too. That's a fun movie. Gotta love hacker/computer movies. I'm collecting them now, it seems. I have wargames, tron, hackers, antitrust, lain, the matrix. Trying to think if there is any other important movies that are missing from the list. maybe the wizard but that's not on dvd. I remember watching that movie lots when i was young. a 90 minute nintendo commercial. It's hard to think of a long list of geeky computer movies.

Anyways, I'm mostly just killing time around here. Getting a little bit done and mostly slacking.

I'm posting a lot right now. it's throwing off my average.

First, is it bad when you strip down so that you can throw the clothes you are wearing into the laundry machine?

Second, while cleaning up my room and taking clothes down to the washing machine, I found my 8 hour state tape! Finally, i can get my fix again! I haven't been about to find this tape (which i paid $40 on ebay for) or my skits and stickers tape in a while. This makes me happy.
