A broken cell phone means...

Poll #1322640 A new cell phone

It's time to buy a new cell phone! What should I get? I don't have that much money, but I can sign a new contract, so that's something.

Drop some cash and get a iphone!
Switch providers because T-Mobile sucks and my provider is awesome! (comment with sugestions)
Just upgrade to the best phone you can get for free. T-Mobile will give you a RIZR!

Well, I do have a hard time supporting a company that is in FAVOR of anally raping babies. That shit is fucked up.

Is it lonely up there on your high horse?

Yea, a little bit.

T-mobile was pretty great for the like nine years I was with them. I only switched because I needed some iphone love. I haven't had any trouble with AT&T either though.

iPhone $99
refurb iPhones are now $99 from AT&T. That doesn't help cover the monthly data costs though. :/

Re: iPhone $99
When I made this poll, I did some shopping and actually saw this deal. It's tempting, but still pretty costly.

Go through letstalk.com and look around. You can get phones for free with no activation and no shipping. You can even sign up for the carrier through them while you're at it.

Wow, thanks for that link.

Well, I have a jailbroken iPhone and haven't had issues with TMobile for the several years I've had them. I pay like $30 a month for my iPhone this way. It's nice.

That does sound good.

T-Mobile in my area doesn't suck one bit. The only people out-doing them right now is Verizon.... which, hello... you end up paying a lot for.

RIZR sucks. Unless you're familiar with Motorola already.

What phone were you using? With that info, I can definitely point you in a better direction.

My current phone is a Nokia 6103. It's been a decent phone for my purposes, but oh how I love new toys.

I've never had a Motorola before, but if I'm not getting a smart phone or something then I assume a cell phone is a cell phone.

If you were using Nokia, then I'd stick with them, or go Samsung. Motorola's menu layout is completely different when compared to those two maker's. Honestly, completely different. Test it out in the one of the stores if you'd like.

My first few cells were Nokias, shortly after I went with Samsung. Now I'm using a "temporary" Motorola and I still cannot stand it even though I've had it for half a year now. Samsung was by far my favorite as far as the menus being most intuitive and having more user options.

The iPhone really isn't all that bad. However, the screens crack EASY. My friend cracked his in only 3 days because he had it in his pocket at work and he leaned up against the bar well to get a drink order and the screen spider-webbed. They also do not have picture messaging. It will send you a message stating you have to do to a link online in order to view your message. Other than those two things, they're pretty damn cool.

And if all you're looking into getting is just a cell phone, because it's just a cell phone, then you should just stick with what you know.

Personally, I'm a BlackBerry fanatic. Right now, Tmo has the 83xx curve or the pearl flip, try them out, one of them will probably fit for you.
