After watching the show, I was reminded of Eight Episodes, which is a short story about a tv show created by an alien race as first contact.

If this was the last episode ever, at least they kind of tried to wrap things up a bit. I felt like I got a hint at what was going on, and also I got a sense that they knew that giving some sort of real answers could come off cheesy. I honestly don't know where they could go with a new season, but I'll totally watch it if they bring it back.

At least they didn't pull a Carnivale and shut down production of the show at a point where tons of plot threads were hanging. The little narrated montage at the end of this JFC episode felt like maybe they stuck it in last minute to keep fans from revolting.

Also, my mind boggled when I found out that the lawyer's fiance was played by Jennifer Grey. I don't think I've seen her in anything since that movie _Wind_. HBO does such cool casting!

There was a little bit of wrapping, but mostly we are just left with clues as to the true nature of things. Honestly, I was never expecting answers, but ending things with a parade was not what i expected.

I also will keep watching this show if they do come back with a second season. But really, I prefer Flight of the Conchords and if I had to choose between JFC and FotC, I would have to choose the mail FotC.
