Heroes

There was a bit of a rumble when that show Heroes first came on. So I went and caught up on the show as fast as I could1 and have just watched up to the current chapter 7. Holy shit, this show is brilliant. I love the way it’s unfolding and the story telling is completely awesome. Are you not watching Heroes yet? You should be.

And we took the House! Hooray! Cheers!

1. It’s so difficult to jump in on a show when it’s first airing, though. You miss an episode of these shows that are all serial and you are fucked. Except, now you can catch up easily and for free. No need to buy things on iTunes, no need to know how to use a bittorrent network. You can watch full episodes with only minimal commericals from the websites of NBC or ABC. Is FOX doing it yet? I’m not sure. If not now, maybe by the time 24 comes on.

Heroes is one of the few TV shows I actually watch and there's no need to even watch commercials! Someone named Oddji has uploaded the episodes onto Youtube, so you can watch 'em there.

Love your layout, by the way.

I didn't think of youtube as a place to catch the shows. The image quality is a little bit low there, isn't it?

Thanks about the layout. I didn't do anything to make it, it's just one of the many choices that LJ gives us now.

Heroes kicks ass.

I make sure to watch it, usually more than once so I can see what new stuff I can pick up. I don't usually do that for a lot of shows.

I haven't started watching it more then once, but I really don't do that with any tv shows. I just have too much other things to watch!

Hehee. If only that tv wasn't so far away from everyone else. It's definitely a show that's worth watching with others.

I can totally see why Hiro is so popular amongst the fans, but he isn't my favorite. I'm really interested in Peter Petrelli. I think he might prove to be the person with the most complicated and powerful abilities.

eh. Peter's character is a little too.... whiney for me. I don't know. He doesn't seem like as strong of a person as the other characters for some reason. Plus he's a home-wrecker. I don't like home-wreckers. heh. I also really like the cop. I really liked that actor in Alias, and as soon as I saw him in this show I got all exicted.

As far as powers go I like the cheerleader - I mean ... how can you NOT? I like Peter's brother, too - HELLO HUMAN BULLET! hehe.

Of course, the cheerleader is easy to like. She's cute and innocent in this naive kinda way that is irresistible.

I think Peter's brother will end up being a villian, kinda like Ali Larter's character. Which will drive Peter towards his goal of saving the world, making his more of a strong character. Also, once Peter understands what his power truely is, I think he won't be so confused and whiney. He's the character with the largest room to grow.

The cop is a very likable character, but mind readers have never been that interesting to me. It's all fine and good that he can rewin the love of his wife and also try to connect to Mr Nuke.

I've caught every episode so far, and Megan and I both love it. Great television (Studio 60? Not so much)

Haven't watched Studio 60, but it doesn't sound as interesting.

it's basically West Wing trying to both dumb it down and make it funny. It's gets a big "meh" from me.
They had John Goodman gueststarring in a two epidsode plot starting this week, you know it's going badly.

haha, i saw the promos for the goodman scenes. I thought it was funny because Rosanne Bar was on My Name is Earl last week when they were hyping Goodman.
