Sometimes I wish I was that way

It's the same mental war every week. Monday starts a fresh new bout of depression which I have to fight off to be productive. Sometimes I can distract it for a little bit by either applying for jobs, doing yard work for my sister or doing other various errands. It always catches up with me after a day or two. It might be routed in the futile feeling I am getting from my life.

I hate writing about being depressed because it feels like it overshadows good things (which it does while I struggle with it) and I'd rather people see me as the happy-go-lucky type guy that I prefer to be.

i had really bad depression for years, and i didnt find help in looking for the answers in life or anything like that...that came after i conquered the physical symptoms. youve probably heard this before but getting a fully physical to make sure theres no thyroid condition etc, getting some basic therapy and a depression test, looking into meds to help you motivate temporarily at least, and then accupuncture, walking a lot, all that good stuff, it all combines in making one feel a bit better than before. at least, it did for me, its a long road tho, but it sure beats the alternative.

Maybe it is time to approach this from a medical standpoint. I've never dealt with depression like that before.

i remember going to a therapist for the first time as an adult, and taking their little depression test, and i totally started crying because every symptom i had was on there. i had no idea what what was wrong was anything more than me sucking, but i was a textbook case for clinical depression. you cant get out of that hole if you brain chemicals wont let you, no matter how hard you want to, i know! but luckily there are ways to boost em once you look at it like that.

I'm currently not getting any sort of help with it. Today it was hitting me kind of hard and it makes me want to get some sort of help for it, though.

Step one, get past denial.
Step two?
Step three, profit!

Should I put your name in?
"We’re looking for a Part-Time Courier to work Thursday and Friday all day. Hours are 9:45-6 or later depending on pick ups. We pay $10/hour plus mileage, parking and cell phone reimbursement.

Let me know if you know of someone who is reliable, has reliable transportation, knows the area and wants to work part-time

Pam"
