This Saturday is the Sasquatch festival and I'm ready to party at the Gorge.
Who else is going out there this weekend? Anyone want to carpool?

I'm currently looking at driving out Saturday morning, spending the day
there and then driving back after the festival. I don't really want to camp
out there, that's extra money I would rather not spend. I am planning on
driving myself, but if others are looking at getting out there and want to
carpool and combine our efforts, that would be awesome.

I've talked to a couple people in passing about this, but it's time to
hammer out the details.

I need to talk to cynthia about a ticket, she was making noises that she would front the price of the ticket if I'd go with her. We could rendevous and make a daylong party of it!

Well, I'm kinda looking for an idea about when people are driving. You guys not camping, right?

The drive there is fantastic .. unless its pissing rain.
I love concerts at the gorge.

They will allow you to take in some snacks (sealed) and sealed water bottles, especially if you take meds.

I have brought in my own booze ;) though they do check for that sort of thing ...
I bring a blanket to lay on and a change of clothes because no matter how hot it is during the day...when that sun sets...egads it gets cold and fast.

(the sunsets are amazing, btw)

Depending on how tired you are, camping is not the worst option and they really dont charge a lot.
If you're in the grassy area, nap during the shitty bands .. so that at the end of the night you're not as tired ... and thus able to drive home..
and let me tell you .. the drive home takes 3 times longer than the drive there.

Thank goodness for rest stops and caffene.

Oh, lots of good advice. Last time I drove there was about 2 years ago. I'm going to pack up for it well.

I've made several movies about Sasquatch-related subjects.

That's awesome.

The first one was a crappy mockumentary about some hoosiery dudes trying to find the Sasquatch. It's called Sasquatch in Missouri.

Then in April of last year, we made a documentary called MoMo the Missouri Monster which was about the town of Louisiana, MO, and some sightings of a strange sasquatch-monster that occured there in the 1970s.

And then last summer we re-shot Sasquatch in Missouri to make it better, but we haven't edited it yet :(

Wow! Really?

Yes, sasquatches are awesome, especially when crushing dogs under their arms. It is the equivalent of a shark munching a hotdog (preferably having the hot dog thrown into the back of its throat by a man, ideally this man would be me), or a guy wailin' on the hillside with an awesome guitar.

Anyway I made another comment above that said a little bit more about the movies I did which pertained to Sasqui.
