Not quite so amazing was the millions of mosquitoes. The ate me alive, dispite my best efforts to keep them away. Now I really am good friends with my tube of Hydrocortisone creme. Dispite that and the long drive to and back, it was a very enjoyable experience. I love camping and I don't get to do it enough. It was really a large part of my childhood, but now that I'm older, I haven't really done it too much. I should go to REI and get some camping gear and go more often. I didn't realize how much I missed it. But I'm getting sidetracked here.
It started on friday morning at about 8:30am. My dad, phatfhorn and I packed into the car and started driving. We got to Boise at about 5pm and picked up my sister Kathy, her husband Mike and my mom. My mom and dad stay in Stanley in a hotel and the rest of us get to the campsite at about 10pm. It was dark by the time we got there so all we did was set up and go to bed. The next day was the wedding and the party, which are posts in themselves. I may just hold on to most of those for personal conversations.
